sustainability

Our new Atlas fabric has a PFC-free C0 DWR finish for high-performing, long-lasting water repellency and faster dry times. The PFC-free C0 DWR is made without short-chain PFCs, or perfluorinated chemistry also known as PFAS, which are part of a family of forever chemicals that have been used to create DWR finishes for decades, but can wash off of garments and remain in our watersheds for hundreds of years. Janji has transitioned completely to using PFC-free C0 water repellency as part of our sustainable initiatives while still prioritizing long-lasting protection without releasing harmful substances into the environment — we are proud to be 100% PFAS free across our apparel and accessories production as of January 2023.

Our Atlas fabric is bluesign® certified meaning it is free from harmful chemicals and is fabricated in a way that meets a high environmental standard.

Significantly Exceeded My Expectations

I’m 62. Been running since 18. Owned a ton of gear over the years, even worked in the running/outdoor industry. There’s a lot of great gear out there, but it isn’t easy to truly impress me. I generally don’t leave reviews. I have to make an exception for the Atlas Multi Pant because it is so good. As close to perfection as a product gets. The Atlas Multi Pant leads its category by so clearly that the second best run pant is a very distant second. The fabric is amazingly light for the wind, moisture and temperature protection it provides. It also has a nice hand part way between a shell and a light, protective soft shell. Patterning is industry best. The unique taper of the legs fits better than any running pant, does not rub in mid-stride, and makes excess fabric non-existent. The back of the pants is high enough to protect your lower back in drafty conditions. Absolute perfection. To make this even better, the extremely long leg zippers make putting on and taking off delightfully easy. Bonus: the leg zippers are very good zippers: zero jamming. Pocket arrangement is sensical and functional. I can get gels out of the pockets with thin gloves on. Sizing and fit is straight down the middle accurate. Even the drawstrings are well conceived and resist disappearing back into the waist of the pants. Bonus: these even pack small for travel or in a lightweight backpack. I have owned these pants for a month and run up to 13 miles in these pants in weather from 31-degrees Fahrenheit to about 45-degrees and in light rain. While not seam-sealed waterproof, they do provide some reasonable protection from light rain and drizzle. My sense is that these pants could be adequate down to about 20-degrees F if you’re moving at a vigorous pace. These pants are good enough that I bought a second pair and, even more significantly, this is the only thing I wear that I don’t let my cats sit on my lap with.

Perfect for those who prefer running pants instead of tights.

These pants are FABULOUS! Stretchy in all the right places. For real, I generally can't find running pants that fit well but these are perfect. Thank you Janji!!

Needs length

I have a pair of these. Great pant but if you’re over 6 ft or have long legs they’re too short. I’m 6 4. Janji might consider offering extended lengths. People are taller nowadays. At least an option to have a custom length made would be cool…

More Length Options

The fabric and overall fit is great, but as other people have noted, more length options would be good. I’m a medium waist, but a 32/33 length, so the pants are a little shorter than I’d like.

Multi pant

I was excited to see the return of the side zips present with the Atlas Tech.
However, as compared to the Atlas Tech, the Medium waist is significantly snugger on the Atlas Multi - not unusable, but far less comfortable to take on and off.
I remain uncertain as to why the zips have been extended up towards the knees with no way to secure the unzipped leg portions.

Solid running pants

I love the pants! My only thing is I'm 6’3” and the inseam on all of the sizes has the same length of legs. Me being taller they look like high waters instead of the way they Look on the pictures you have online. Hopefully, in the
future, you add to the leg length too. That's all. Also I were a medium.
