Our AFO fabric is composed of 88% recycled polyester. We use high-grade recycled polyester made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic like rPET (commonly found in single-use bottles and containers) to reduce the impact of our apparel without sacrificing on performance, durability or comfort.

AFO fabric is also bluesign® certified meaning it is free from harmful chemicals and is fabricated in a way that meets a high environmental standard.

Transit Pants Are Simply The Best

I've tried them all over the years and the Transit Pants are the best -- lightweight , super comfortable and amazingly durable. I use them for running, hiking, climbing and around town. Amazingly, compare to my other climbing/running pants, my wife actually thinks they are stylish.

Favorite Shorts - Hands Down

I have 2 pairs of AFOs, 1 pair of Multi Short and a pair of Traverse 2-in-1. They are all amazing. The AFO are by far my favorite running shorts and the Traverse are perfect for travel and everyday use and the Multi short hit everything inbetween.

10/10, i wish i could have a bottomless supply

I cant lie, i'm a bigger runner (5'11" 220 lbs) so most shorts ive tried over long miles just arent the most comfortable things to wear. HOWEVER these... iIhave two pairs, and every day i try to convince myself not to get more because they are just perfect for me and if i could id wear them every day of the week. The comfort is just about the best i could ask for. I just ran my first ultramarathon in these shorts and had absolutely zero chaffing even though i forgot to use any body lube. But the thing that really turns these up for me? the pockets. The monumental achievement in the sport of running to have usable pockets that dont make things awkwardly swing around is incredible. When i found these i was so incredibly excited because Ive tried shorts from asics, nike, adidas, tracksmith, and nothing was even close to these.

wow! what an improvement

I have owned prior pairs of the traverse 2-in-1 short, but this is an upgrade! For starters, I previously had fit issues, between a small and medium (5'8", 155lb, size 30 waist). In these, I am comfortably a small which is my size in most brands. the upgrade comes in the form of a new, improved fabric for the waistband and liner that is much more luxurious to the touch without sacrificing a firm fit to hold my phone in the side pockets. Love it!
